October 1, 2014 – China Huaxin Post & Telecommunication Economy Development Center (“China Huaxin”) officially announced that the acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent (“ALU”) Enterprise has been successfully completed today.

A newly-formed holding company incorporated in France to manage global enterprise business has been jointly established by China Huaxin with 85% stake and ALU with 15% stake. As a strong and recognized investor, China Huaxin will provide the means and resources necessary to strengthen ALU Enterprise’s leadership positions in enterprise communications while accelerating investment in new areas of net growth.

After the acquisition, with existing advantages of its main products and R&D capabilities, ALU Enterprise will be supported to increasingly invest and innovate in the core markets where it is already recognized as an undisputed leader, namely enterprise communications and networking – while exploring new market opportunities in select, high-growth countries, vertical solutions and cloud services. At the same time, the business will work to enable an innovative shift from a pure technology-centric to outcome-based delivery model, delivering measurable benefits from both an economical and human perspective for its partners and customers.
